Great news! The proceeds from our 2009 event helped secure a grant from the Department of Natural Resources for the Concord Trailhead Park construction. However they are still in need of matching funds in order to proceed with this project. The proceeds from our 2010 event will also go to help this effort. You can help us by donating an amount greater than your registration fee. Details will be on our downloadable form and through Active.com. |
Purpose
The purpose of this annual event is to raise funds to help maintain the Falling Waters Trail and to support local community and county park improvements to the trail.
Proceeds from the 2009 event was used to help match funds applied for from the Concord Community for development of the Concord Trailhead Park project.
Community awareness is also important as we work to develop programs to educate our community and trail users about safety on the trail.
